Sister Mary Valerie and Sister Mary Benedicte fed hundreds of people from their soup kitchen in San Francisco. They paid rent for their kitchen (and their home) by selling baked goods at farmers' markets.
In 2016, they were going to be evicted. As the story got out about their generosity, caring people from all over the world raised money to set up the nuns with a soup kitchen and a home.
Their sisters in Detroit, Chicago, and New York City had prayed for a miracle, and now the miracle is bigger than they imagined.
