Making an impact in the lives of those in need is a key strand of Nunbelievable’s DNA. This can be seen through our commitment to donate two meals to our partner soup kitchens for every 12-pack box of our delicious cookies purchased. In addition, we are always seeking creative ways to expand our mission, and a perfect example is our recent campaign for Blythedale Children’s Hospital 

What makes Blythedale Nunbelievable?

Blythedale Children’s Hospital, located in Valhalla, New York, is one of just 14 specialized children’s hospitals in the United States. This incredible facility does remarkable work by providing medical care, rehabilitation, and support for children with complex medical illnesses and disabling conditions. 

Blythedale is also unique because they are the only hospital in N.Y. with its ​own school district on site  Yes, the school is connected to the hospital! This creates an ultra-convenient environment for families since patients get both the care they need and an education under one roof.


Teamwork Makes The Dream Work

Back in August, we had the awesome opportunity to pre-sale our Nunbelievable cookies at Tony Robbins’ Business Mastery Seminar in Las Vegas. At the seminar we created the Live to Give campaign, with the goal of selling enough Nunbelievable cookies to donate 15,000 meals through a “triple your impact” initiative. For every box of 12 cookies, Nunbelievable committed to donating six meals to our partner soup kitchens. At Business Mastery we also provided attendees an opportunity to gift boxes of cookies to Blythedale. By the end of the event, nearly 200 boxes of cookies were ordered as gifts for the hospital, which also resulted in over 1,000 meals to be donated to our partner soup kitchens. Talk about the gift that keeps on giving! 


Progress Made On Delivering Our Promise

The Nunbelievable team, led by Co-Founder & CMO Kuda Biza, visited Blythedale on October 29 to finalize the details of the donation. We were welcomed by Blythedale’s Robert R. Lane, Chief Development Officer, and Connie Comell, Director of Strategic Communications, and received a full tour of the hospital. We were struck by the commitment of the doctors and staff to give families peace of mind and assistance as they face complex and stressful challenges.

The Holidays Are Looking Delicious At Blythedale

The Blythedale Children’s Hospital team has requested that the cookies to be delivered for their marquee holiday event on December 20, which will be broadcast live on radio on WCBS-FM. Last year’s event featured performances from Matchbox Twenty’s lead singer Rob Thomas (back for his 19th consecutive appearance), Grammy nominated singer/songwriter Gavin DeGraw, and more. We are delighted to be a part of such a fun and meaningful event and are looking forward to seeing who comes to perform this year.  Keep an eye out for an update in December when we hand deliver the cookies to children and families at Blythedale.
